153 acres in Howard County, NE. Located by Boelus, NE. halfway between Grand Island and Sherman Reservoir (Loup City).
Rare offering in Howard County! Highly productive farm ground with diverse habitat. Premier hunting location, with plentiful whitetail and mule deer, trophy-size bucks. Yearly rotation of irrigated corn and soybeans, with small dry land fields next to town. Balance of ground is native pasture with lots of cedar trees, and hay meadows with mixed grasses and standing timber/sumac. Many species of wildlife are readily available due to an abundant food source, the availability of water, and natural cover.
Owner is very particular, hunters must absolutely “leave no trace” from vehicles, ATV's or trash. ATV's are allowed for hunting only. Do not drive in hay meadows until hay has been put up, nor drive in hay meadows when the ground is wet. Must not interfere with the existing tenant’s farming and livestock activities.
Lessee is responsible to keep the property posted year-round and at all entry points, with “Leased Hunting” signs provided by HLN. No more than 3 hunters are allowed on the property at any given time (to include all guests/invitees of the hunters named on the lease).
Property boundaries are clearly marked by roads and fences. There are a few buildings onsite that the landowner will approve use by hunters.
Landowner reserves the right for ongoing pasture clearing/removal of excessive cedar trees. Plenty of trees will remain to facilitate good hunting.
Cattle typically on property from May - October. Hay meadows are free of cattle all year long.
Camping will be allowed, but will have to be approved by landowner. No open fires! Electricity will be available on this tract.
Trapping will be allowed, but only live traps may be used.
Max number of hunters allowed - 3
Landowner asks that you keep your distance from the houses on the west side of the property while rifle hunting. Please follow your Nebraska Game & Parks rules and regs.

Note that this property can be leased with NEEA 0262 (280 acres) & NEEA 0263 (240 acres) if looking to add additional acres.
