***SOUTHEAST ILLINOIS***This Southern Illinois lease consists of two tracts. Both tracts are mostly crop fields with some timber on both tracts. The north tract is a long narrow piece laying next to the Fox River. Deer are using the small strip of timber along the river as a travel corridor and bedding. I jumped deer out of here when visiting the property. This tract may also have some pretty good waterfowl opportunities. The south tract is approx.70 acres of mostly crop fields. There is a large amount of CRP/WRP around this tract and the deer are coming from the neigboring properties to feed in these crop fields. A treestand in the small island of trees in the field would make a great stand location for someone wanting to gun hunt this property.
