UNIT 6 PROPERTY WITH THE LITTLE ARKANSAS RIVER RUNNING THROUGH IT!!!
This is a smaller property with some great potential. The Little Arkansas River runs through the NE corner of the property. This river has all kinds of big buck potential. The area to the north and south of the property has great cover and the river will be used as a travel corridor. I can speak from experience because I hunt property not but a few miles from this area. I also know of a 200" deer that was taken off the property directly to the north.
Your main area of hunting will be that NE corner but there is a hedge row that runs along the entire north half of the property which bucks will also use as a travel corridor. There are also some concrete structures for erosion out in the agricultural fields that could be used for ground blind sites. Deer have used these areas to bed in and I have caught bucks tending does around these concrete structures.
When I walked the property, I jumped numerous deer bedded along the river. The are many mature trees for stand sites.
This property will be bowhunting only. A shot gun can be used for turkeys, waterfowl, and upland game.
