Big buck country in Unit 18!!
This unique opportunity has both species of deer. It boasts a decent mule deer herd and has whitetails. It is one continuous piece positioned right outside of Fowler. The property is rolling hills of native grass and sage brush. There are trees that freckle the landscape. A couple of groves that would be great places for a tree stand. There are also plenty of places to brush a ground blind into the thickets. The shelter belt at the north end of the property is great place for deer to bed and get out of the Kansas wind. A well placed feeder and blind could be the ticket here.
There are also pheasants and quail throughout the property. The doves were amazingly plentiful. The power lines on the roads surrounding the property were loaded with hundreds of doves. This property also provides plenty of wing shooting.
Coyote tracks were in the sandy roads. After all the other seasons are over, there would be plenty of opportunities to lower the coyote population and help the fawns in the spring.
Would pair vary nicely with KSWE 0103 and/or KSWE 0105. They are within 10 minutes of each other.
